JUSTIN ALLGAIER WINS FIRST FEATURE AT 15

Justin Allgaier who just turned 15 years old on June 6, proved all those naysayers wrong tonight as he visited the MACON Speedway in preperation for Thursday nights Herald-Review 100, part of the UMP Summer National Series.

Justin who is in just his first full year of racing dirt late models took his Hoosier Tire Midwest, Trashman, Law Automotive, Petroff Towing, Clement powered Rayburn Chassis from the front row starting position to the point and never looked back. Justin captured the 25 lap feature by besting Matt Taylor, Ed Bauman, Joe Ross, Jr. and Virgil Bilbry at the line and in the process became the youngest driver ever to win a late model feature at the MACON Speedway. There will have to be some investigation into the past record books but Justin might possibly be the youngest driver ever to capture a UMP Late Model A-main event in the history of the United Midwestern Promoters series.

Kerby Damery started the night off by turning the track with the fastest qualifying lap of 12.151.

The dash was won by John Graham over Allgaier and Bauman.

Heat honors went to Steve Sheppard, Jr. over Lonnie Franklin and Mike Mudd and Allgaier over Virgil Bilbry and Brad Shelley.

Great job Justin on your first of many wins to come during your career!!!
