AMP Late Model Series Gets Radio Coverage

The Day Motorsports AMP Late Model Series Race Director Christy Hudson will be featured on two National Radio Talk Shows tonight, August 28, 2007 at 6:30 PM Central Time. Christy will first appear on the Karnac Radio show where they will be discussing Short Track America & Real Racing USA, and Christy will be on with Jack Smith talking about the AMP Series and Drivers. AMP To Hold Autograph Session At Central Arkansas Speedway

The Day Motorsports Arkansas Motorsports Professional Late Model Series will host an autograph session for the fans on July 21 2007 at Central Arkansas Speedway. The session will take place between 5:30 and 6:00 PM right outside of the pit gate. At this time, the fans will be able to get photos, autographs, and candy from their favorite AMP Late Model racers! Each racer is encouraged to bring a small bag of candy with them to the track to hand out to the kids.

Also the Feature Race Winner in the Jamie Jones Memorial Race, along with Central Arkansas Speedway Promoter Cindy Clark will present Jamie's family with a special gift immediately following the race.

The current Top 10 in AMP points is as followed: Kyle Beard, Joseph Long, Jon Mitchell, Terry Henson, Dewaine Hottinger, Clay Fisher, Andy Hockenhull, Charlie Cole, Gary Scott Christian, and Jon Kirby, with Kyle Beard, Joseph Long, Clay Fisher, Charlie Cole, and Gary Scott Christian round out the Top 5 in the Rookie of the Year points chase.

The AMP Late Model Series has already raced at Central Arkansas Speedway once this race season, with Kyle Beard taking the win, and Jon Mitchell, Jon Kirby, Joseph Long, and Terry Henson rounding out the Top 5. Many of the AMP racers enjoyed racing on the smooth 1/4 Clay oval and are looking forward to returning to the track to put on a show for the fans of Central Arkansas Speedway.

AMP Series Race Director Christy Hudson said it is an honor to be able to bring in the AMP Series and it's racers to honor such a wonderful young mans memory.

If you are looking for some fast late model action, then Central Arkansas Speedway is the place to be on July 21 2007. The gates open at 5:00 PM, Hot Laps are at 7:30 PM, and the Racing Action begins at 8:00 PM. All racers are encouraged to come join in this special Memorial Event.
