Dunk The Flagman Raise Money For Devin This Sun. At Vcs July 1, 2007

This Sun. at VCS we will be raising money for Devin Henson and his family to help with any extra cost that might arise during his upcoming brain surgery. The Gao Grotto has loaned me there dunk tank and Rick our flagman has volunteered to let people get him wet. Also Sam Drigger from UMP will take his turn in the tank along with Terry Young General Manager of Hoosier Tire Midwest and Real Deal Don O'Neal. Here's your chance to get even with the Flagman UMP and Hoosier Tire all in the same afternoon. I would like to Thank these guys for doing this I called them today and told them about Devin and none of them even hesitated they just asked what time I needed them there.
The gates at the speedway will open at 3:00 and the dunk tank will be open from 3:30 til 6:00. So come on out and enjoy the racing the fireworks and help us raise money for Devin.

Vcs Is Cancelled For Sunday May 27th

Illinois is gearing up for a big weekend of Ump Modified Racing In Illinois.

This weekend will draw some of the hottest race teams in the country for Memorial Day weekend specials at Kankakee, Charleston and Vermilion County Speedway.

The weekend kicks off May 25^th with $5000.00 to win and Kankakee Motor Speedway, The Dan Hamstra 50. On September 21^st 2006 was seriously injured in a car accident. Although Dan was unable to compete the rest of the season, Dan’s 20 feature wins allowed him to be crowned 2006 UMP National Champion. The Dan Hamstra 50 recognizes one of the nicest guys in racing and his dedication to the sport.

Saturday May 26^th Charleston Speedway will pay $1000.00 to win for UMP Modifieds as well as a bonus of $100.00 for entry into Sundays David Richardson Memorial.

Sunday May 26^thwill find the best UMP Modified Teams competing for $5000.00 to win in the 14^th annual David Richardson Memorial. This race recognizes former VCS Promoter Phil Richardson’s nephew David and his battle with cancer.

In 2005 after Eleven Years Denny Schwartz was the first two time winner of the David Richardson Memorial. Will it take eleven years for this to happen again, or are you putting your money on Schwartz to be the first 3-time winner!

Format:

24 cars will start the A feature

The top 20 non-qualifiers are eligible for the $750.00 B Feature

The next 20 non-qualifiers are eligible for the $500.00 C Feature
