NIGHT OF THE REBEL
Uses a late-race
pass to get around Eckrich in the WDRL race in Freeport

(Sept. 9, 2007) -- Darren "The Thriller" Miller used a late-race pass around
Denny Eckrich to retake the lead and the win Saturday in the WORLD Dirt Racing
League-sanctioned race, The Rebel, here at Freeport Raceway Park.
Brian Harris and
Miller started on the front row. Miller grabbed the lead at the drop of the
green flag while Eckrich and Harris battled for second right behind him. Eckrich
found a way around Miller to take the lead on lap 45.
Eckrich led the trio
through lapped traffic until Miller saw an opening and worked around the high
side of Eckrich to take the lead. Miller would go on to take the win. Eckrich
finished second. Harris was third followed by Dave Eckrich and Justin Fegers.
